Step 1 - Meeting/ Information

Thank you for your interest in Move Dance Family's 5th Annual Nutcracker! We’re excited to bring this year’s production to life, and we can't wait to see your dancer be a part of it. Here’s a quick recap of important details:

Audition Information:

• Date: September 6th

• Ages 4-7: No audition required, but please fill out the audition form for participation.

• Ages 8-10: Auditions from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

• Ages 11 and up: Auditions from 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM

• Audition Results: Will be given the week after the auditions.

Investment:

• The participation fee for The Nutcracker production is $350, which includes everything except tickets. For dancers ages 4-5, the fee is $197.

Ticket Information:

• Tickets range between $25-$35 [3 tiers of seating], plus Stafford Center box office fees. These fees can be reduced if you purchase tickets directly from the physical location.

Ways to Get Your Investment Paid For:

We are excited to kick off our fundraising efforts for The Nutcracker experience on SOON with a Popcorn Fundraiser! This program allows families to raise funds while enjoying delicious treats. Here’s how it works:

1. Sign up through the email link to access the fundraising dashboard.

2. Create your personal online dashboard as a seller.

3. Share the fundraiser link via email, text, or social media.

4. Earn 50% profit on sold items and 80% profit on donations.

5. Popcorn orders are delivered directly to the buyers' homes.

Note: Supporters can also choose to make donations instead of purchasing popcorn. You can find the link to get started on your fundraising journey at MoveNutcracker.com.

Referral Program: We are excited to introduce our new referral program! If you participate and refer someone new to the Nutcracker, you will receive $50 off your fee for each student referred who participates. This applies to anyone who has never done the Nutcracker at Move before, including current Move families or those new to the studio.

Rehearsal Schedule:

• Detailed rehearsal schedules will be shared after auditions.

• Rehearsals will be held on Saturdays, and you only need to attend for your parts—you won’t be there the entire day.

• Choreography Week is 9/26-9/28, with the first rehearsal starting on 10/4.

Parent Participation: We highly encourage parents to join in the fun! No experience is needed, and participation is free for adults.
